James Beard Award–winning Chef Douglas Rodriguez, widely known as the Godfather of Nuevo Latino Cuisine, has spent decades redefining Latin American dining. A pioneer of the movement, he earned the James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year Award in 1996.
